Change Is Not Always Wanted, But Sometimes Needed

Nobody likes to change.  When we have to make changes, we always think of the most impossible, worst scenario of what would happen if we change what we have always done for years, or for some, decades!

1 PETER 5:7 KJV “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” (kingjamesbibleonline.org)

1 Peter 5:7 should be your guide that if God says it’s time to change, that He is with you during that change.

Next Generation Ministries is changing, and I’m terrified! God has told me, for years, things needed to change for me to do His will, but I had to let somethings go first.  Well of course, I’m kicking and screaming about what I had accomplished and the plans I had for the future.  God, being the kind and patient parent He is, showed me a little of what HIS plans were for me and, like an obedient child when daddy has spoken, I sat down and I sat quiet (I shut my mouth really).

Change is scary, I will not sugar coat that one bit.  You don’t know what will happen or how you are supposed to carry out the directions/plans God has laid out for you.   Always remember God has your back, He wouldn’t have told you it was time to change if He didn’t feel you were ready for it.

I had to let somethings go (and there will be more) true, but what I didn’t know was that God was already working on my fears of what would happen once I let those things go.  MY GOD IS AWESOME!!!!  He was already working on something else BEFORE He started working on me.  I WISH SOMEONE WOULD TELL ME MY GOD IS NOT REAL!!!!!  I DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU TO TELL ME GOD IS NOT REAL!!!!!

Pray for Next Generation Ministries and for this blog (one of the fears) is only the beginning, I cannot imagine what the next chapter will hold for my ministry. I do know that as long as Jesus has the wheel it will be a blessed ride.
