Isaiah 62:1 – 3 (ISAIAH CHAPTER 62 KJV (kingjamesbibleonline.org)

1 For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

Holding Your Peace

We need to stop holding our peace when it comes to the goodness of God because we feel we are telling all our business. We live in a world where we have to see it and not just hear it. We need to see someone coming out of their trials so we can believe it can be done. We need to see the actions and not just hear the words. We don’t need to rest until the righteous has been brought forth to the brightness (the light).

God’s Blessing

God has blessed us with so much that we should not be holding our peace and should be telling everyone of what God has done for us. Remember God blesses us so we can bless others and that can be by thought, word or deed. It is these souls that need to witness the goodness of God in our lives so they know they are not alone and that help is just a prayer away. All they have to do is ask for help and resources can be given to them to help. But, as always, we need to learn how to be humble and how to ask for help.

Being Humble

You can’t get help if no one knows you need it. We can assume all day long on those needing help, but until they open their mouths and ask for it, we don’t know what specific help is needed. I have no problem sharing the bad choices I made because it has helped others make better choices. I now have no problem asking for help because it is not just about me and Bare, but we have kids and grandkids to think about and what would be best for all of us. It took YEARS for me to be humble and ask for help. I was embarrassed and didn’t want to be judged for asking by asking for help. Sometimes, I was criticized and talked about before they gave me help which stopped me from asking which caused us to suffer at times.

On Today

Today don’t hold your peace. It’s a new year, new blessings and new beginnings are coming our way. Don’t keep them to yourself, someone needs to see, and hear, that God is real and has not forgotten about them. Don’t rest until all lost souls come back home and our light shines so bright that people are stopping us wanting to have that inner peace we have and are asking how they can get it too. Be that light, because many came into the New Year in darkness.
